The Township Entrepreneurs Guide to GET THINGS DONE is a book that comes straight from my heart and experience, crafted to empower township entrepreneurs across South Africa. Over the past 20 years, Bulelani Balabala has walked the journey of entrepreneurship, learning, failing, growing and most importantly creating multiple successful business from eKasi. The book was inspired by the challenges faced by township entrepreneurs operating eKasi at a micro and small scale, this data was gathered through Township Entrepreneurs Alliance (TEA) which is a platform he pioneered in 2015 with the aim of championing township entrepreneurship. TEA has presence in all major townships in South African and has directly impacted over 100 000+ township entrepreneurs.
This book is a practical guide that addresses the real challenges faced by the township entrepreneurs we work with through TEA, those who grind daily to build their businesses from the ground up in the tough township environment. I’ve taken these stories, combined them with lessons from my own entrepreneurial journey and created a relatable, no-nonsense roadmap to Get Things Done.
